Contract testing
Primary goal of HOT Screen is to provide organotypic (in vivo-like) test systems for the investigation of immuno-biologically active single compounds, substance mixtures, as well as final formulations hereof (creams, ointments, suppositories, etc.) under physiologically highly relevant conditions.
This is achieved by establishing different types of culture models, such as co-culture systems comprising various cell types from different organs in the presence of human immune cells in a co-operative fashion.
Application
HOT Test Systems are used for screening as well as in-depth profiling of test samples for bioactivity: Not only drugs, nutraceuticals, food supplements, and even probiotics, but also solid materials (surface modifications of dialysis membranes, implant materials, etc.).
All cellular tests can address both immunopharmacological and immunotoxicological activities of test preparations and, if necessary, can be fully customized to meet the requirements of different pathophysiologically relevant situations, as well as the action of the test substance in question.
